Installation of 3500 ceramic chocolates, a series of paintings, drawings, jewellery etc.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sweets Are Not Forever is an entity which mirrors the “safe” generation, born in a secure and steady world.War was a distant memory, bank holidays and festivities. Hunger was a collection of emotive black and white photographs , no longer a reality. Society s problem was no longer survival, instead it was replaced by obesity.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This society has lost its way, has lost it s real identity. Floating on a tranquil \u00a0pool of borrowed wellbeing and fake prosperity – but then the system collapsed , the western lifestyle was filled with holes, and manpower was transferred to different corners \u00a0of the planet. Wealth became a black whirlpool, swallowing its own self. The society that we regarded as a \u00a0benchmark of freedom and democracy \u00a0stopped functioning. We are now on the curve where we need to discover a new way of functioning and co existence. In spite of our civilisation of prosperity and self created spectacle, \u00a0we have not become any wiser. We did not resolve our issues in a different way. The western overeducated man is still using brutal force as a solution.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

This era is bleeding. And while everyone is crying around it s deathbed, a golden opportunity emerges: let us redefine our intelligence.Let us no longer be sly or cunning, apes have that ability too. Instead \u00a0we must look to \u00a0create a new breed of man, less bloodthirsty, more caring for its fellow man. Let us leave behind our primitive being who has been holding us back for centuries. <\/span><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The sweets have indeed run out, and that might not be a bad thing.<\/span><\/div>\n
