Rather than illustrating the story literally, Christina Darras explores how its meaning shifts with time and with what we are ready\u2014or need\u2014to see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new body of work draws on the CMYK colour system\u2014cyan, magenta, yellow and black\u2014as a visual code. Handmade paper puppets bring Ariadne and the Minotaur into conversation with Pegasus, Medusa, Kyra Sarakosti and fragments of oral tradition and collective memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Memory also becomes personal through a father\u2013daughter collaboration. Alongside Darras\u2019s work are labyrinth-like collages by her 98-year-old father, Giorgos Kampouroglou, made from recycled packaging.
